Boho Motorhome Inspiration

Let’s talk a little bit about a future plan of mine … I’m going to live in a motorhome! My plan is to buy a used motorhome, fix it up, and travel around the country in it. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for over a year now and finally made the decision at the beginning of this year. Currently, my plan is to finish out my lease in my apartment [it’s only a couple more months] and then purchase the motorhome once I no longer have rent payments to make. So basically I will be purchasing a motorhome sometime at the end of 2021 and finishing up renovations sometime at the beginning of 2022. Depending on the condition of the interior I’ll spend a few months fixing it up & then hit the road traveling. I’m not sure yet where I’ll travel to first but my bucket list includes going to every National Park in the US so it will more than likely be a National Park! I’ve been gathering lots of inspiration for the interior & styling of my motorhome and thought it would be fun to share some of my mood boards here.

I’ve been doing lots of research into whether I wanted to get a new or used motorhome, keeping in mind that I know I want to make some serious interior style changes to it. Because I know I want to change up the interior a lot I decided a used motorhome would be the best way to ensure I could stick within my budget! I put together some mood boards of inspiration for how I want the interior to look. This helped me get a better vision for my design style and really curate a clear vision for the motorhome. I created mood boards of inspiration for the kitchen/living room, bathroom, and bedroom!

I have so many gorgeous and really inspiring motorhomes, RVs, vans, and campers that inspired me! There are so many creative and talented people renovating their own spaces, I truly cannot wait to see how mine turns out. It will be so interesting to look back on this post and see how my end result looks in comparison to my mood boards. I will probably end up making a couple more mood boards once I get started in the process of renovating my motorhome. And I will absolutely share the entire process from start to finish!

I am so excited about this new journey that I’ll be taking on later this year! I can’t wait to share another update on my journey towards getting my motorhome. These next few months are going to go so slow but so fast all at the same time. In the meantime, I’ll be gathering some more design inspiration and daydreaming about my future motorhome. Can’t wait to update again soon!
